Fibich, Leebron, Copeland & Briggs Partner Erin Copeland recently spoke at the Mass Tort Med School 2015 litigation conference in Boca Raton, Florida. The conference – held from May 7 – 8 – focused on the medical and scientific aspects of mass tort litigation. Guest speakers included accomplished attorneys and physicians.
In addition to discussing several of the latest pharmaceutical and medical device products to garner national attention for their connection to serious side effects, speakers also discussed recent medical studies and evidentiary decisions, regulatory considerations, the use of expert witnesses, and emerging litigation.
