Fibich, Leebron, Copeland & Briggs partner Erin Copeland has been asked to serve as a panelist at the 2023 Texas Law Review Symposium being held in Austin, Texas. The symposium will bring together industry leaders from around the country to discuss “Judicial Management of MDLs and Other Consolidations.” It will be held in person from January 27 – 28.

2023 Texas Law Review Symposium
The upcoming 2023 Texas Law Review Symposium will be held from January 27 – 28 at the Jamail Pavilion on the University of Texas at Austin School of Law campus. This year’s event will focus on “Judicial Management of MDLs and Other Consolidations” and will feature a wide variety of nationally recognized speakers.
Attorney Erin Copeland has been asked to serve as a panelist for a section entitled “The Role of State Courts in Mass Torts (including Federal-state coordination).” She has been asked to provide her unique insight in regard to the Essure settlement and other mass tort litigation where she has served in a leadership position.
Litigation Committees Attorney Copeland Has Served
Attorney Copeland has extensive experience serving in leadership roles on steering committees across the country.
In addition to serving on the Executive Committee of the Essure consolidated litigation in California, she has served or is currently serving on the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee for various pelvic mesh MDLs in the Southern District of West Virginia and the Pradaxa litigation in the Southern District of Illinois.
She received judicial appointment to leadership in the Onglyza MDL in Kentucky and the Paragard IUD lawsuit against Teva Pharmaceuticals pending out of Georgia.
